Cask @ The Mitre, Edinburgh. Golden Amber colour, good head. Creamy malt aroma. Fagash fruity malt flavour. Bitter aftertaste. This is nothing like an IPA but it is a decent premium bitter.

On tap at the Magpie. Clear amber beer. Little white head. Smooth semi dry palate. Dry creamy malt. Itchy orange hop bitterness. Finishes dry and fairly bitter. Bitter aftertaste. Needs more hop fruit to match the hop bitterness.

Leighton (4100) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 29, 2011
Cask at the Clachlan, Nicholson’s, London. Pours clear, bright yellow-gold with a foamy, white head. Doughy malt aroma with tangy citrus notes. Very sweet flavor, some ripe citrus fruits included, bit of dough and toast, slight caramel. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky sweet finish, a bit of ripe fruits, caramel and faint leaves. OK stuff.
