On cask at the Scottish Real Ale Festival, 2012. Pours a yellow colour with a thick white head. Aroma of lemon, pine, caramel, yeast and alcohol. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Quite dry also.

Cask, Kingís Head, Carlisle. Sparkling pale golden ale, light bodied, good and tangy, nice maltiness with a pleasant bitterness that lasts well. Grassy aroma, some fruit to taste. Good stuff.

On cask. Cloudy orange, velvety pour with a creamy white head. Decent lace. Malty caramel, slight orange peel, pine, grapefruit. Prominent hoppy backbone with a smooth mouth feel. Decent.

Cask-conditioned at the Edgar Wallace, London WC2, 17/02/2011. Deep gold with a slight off-white head. Sweet, caramel and berry fruit aroma with some orange. Flavour was also sweet, with a buttery Caledonian-like caramelised edge, more fruit and moderately bitter finish. It grew on me.

Cask @ Clockwork brewpub. Clear light golden colour, thin white head. Aroma is fruity, bit of caramel and citrus. Flavour is very malty, citrus, followed by lots of dry biscuit. Yeasty . Not bad.
