Orange colour, sparkler head. Light hoppy aroma - some veg. Veg also in the taste, but good malty body for 3.8%. Mes_and_Sim (4176), London, Greater London, England Aug 20, 2007 A Mes rate:
Cask at Baker St ’Spoons. Light copper colour with a slight white head and lace. Slightly malty in the nose but pretty bland otherwise. Nutty flavour with plenty of malt. Slight soapy note but it doesn’t spoil it too much. Dusty, prickly finish. Drinks above its strength but it’s not great. harrisoni (5109), Ashford, Kent, England Jul 7, 2007 Cask gravity at Kingston BF 2007. Copper colour. Minerally, sharp, a little hard and tinny. Hops are on the earthy side. Drank it talking to a guy called Martin from South Wimbledon who was wearing a Horse Brass Pub polo shirt from Portland, Oregon. It really is quite flinty, the beer. Like licking a wall of a flint stone church with earthy hops growing up the side whilst sucking a Werther’s Original.
