Very good beer with aroma of caramel, roasty, herbs. Beer is red in color, similar to Spitfire for example. Good first impression and good after taste. Appearance minimal head, red color not much sparkling. Taste further is medium sweetness, medium bitterness, heavily sour. medium body, soft carbonation and long finish.

Bottle, 4.7%. Slightly farty aroma. Clear chestnut colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour starts off malty, turning roasted with a sort of spicy malt note. Later comes a mild grassy hoppiness followed by a medium bitterness which is quite clean.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with quickly vanishing off-white head. Clear aroma of hop, malt and dried fruit. Bitter, hoppy aroma with a fruity note. Dry finish. OK, but more like an English IPA than an ESB.

From 500 ml bottle. It pours a lightish brown with some light haze and a floppy cream head. Initially got some floral notes on the nose, followed by caramel. The caramel really comes through in the taste together with biscuit-like roasty malt, overlaid with a restrained hop bite that adds a lemony note at the end. Uncomplicated but quite elegant ESB.
