2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 McNeillR (249) - SCOTLAND - SEP 9, 2012
Syruppy body and a poruous but lasting white head. Very gulpable initial taste and a clean cascade of trail mix tasting malt on the palate. The finish slips away from any of the dry promise of mangoey pulp coming through the yeastyness on the palate.
A nice option on cask, even though I’ve had my fair share of stale, flatline pours of Inveralmond gear. Nothing special in any regard
Cask, The Chanter, Edinburgh (Ver and Lamb’s Birthday)
