50cl bottle. Pours an amber colour with a nice sized head. Without even lifting the glass, the Christmas spices are obvious. On closer inspection, the nutmeg is the obvious spice, it’s so obvious that it’s hard to get much of the malt behind though you somehow know it’s there. The taste is more of the same. The palate is initially interesting but really it’s a one-dimensional nutmeg thing. Overall, this amount of nutmeg probably has some health benefits but I couldn’t see me having another.

Fra flaske på Cardinaltreff des-12: som en golden ale med litt krydder. Kort ettersmak. Et typisk session beer, men allikevel bedre enn standard pøseøl.

A nice Christmas beer with just a hint of the traditional spices. It still tastes like a beer and not some crazy egg nog like concoction.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber with a off-white head. Aroma of pale malts, caramel, fruit and spices. Flavor was sweet and lightly bitter with caramel, cinnamon, fruit and xmas spices with a thin and watery texture.

Bottle, february 7th 2013. Clear amber body, low white head. Aroma of toffee and cinnamon. Taste is very malty with some more cinnamon, sweet palate and medium body, not bad but admittedly boring-

From bottle. Pours amber with white head. Aroma of toffee, nutmeg and vanilla. Taste has lots of cinnamon and nutmeg, far too much, major nutmeg party. First sip was interesting, a complete chore after that. Down the sink job.
