First tasted this in the Esquire House, Glasgow (JDW) in October 2003. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale mahogany in colour with a thin white head. Hint of toffee apple in the short aroma. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a weak maltloaf base with strong fruit notes of fresh green apple and juicy spicy sultanas. Floral dusty notes are present in the resiny aftertaste. Finish is slightly sweet and malty with old fashioned boiled sweets present. An ok session bitter.

Good to see our mexican fellow has enough time to add these beers so i can rate them rather than me having to do it hehe! Aroma is typicaly inveralmond hops. Taste is similar with a great drinkability to it, well balanced for a bitter of this strength as i find that after about 4.2% they can become to overpowering by one thing or another.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2006 It was not that amber, but anyway, was most like a Ghost Beer, which is the intent of the name, due to Halloween. Wa smore like Yellow, creamy, and soft.
