Cask at The Railway Richmond. Dirty dark orange, clear, still, dense foamy off-white head. Full, thick lacing. Aroma is soft biscuity malts, simple sugars, some astringent leafy hops. Body is medium, tingly carbonation, smooth. Taste is toffee, oatcake, nutty, soft bitterness to finish. Has a lightly roasted chestnuts vibe. A basic twiggy bitter with a pleasant overall vibe.

Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - it’s very sessionable. Single dimensional but good dimension.
