COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pure New Zealand Honey Beer
Featuring Alpine New Zealand Honey and Moteuka grown hops still quite malty with a hint of raspberry – Invercargill Brewery afficinados could describe it as a cross between Biman and Wasp but really it has a taste all its own.

Dark yellow in colour with small white head. Big malt and hop, no honey. A bit of a let down from this brewery.

Bottle, poured a dark gold with a filmy head. Aroma is more fruity than honey, though still nice, though with too much sweetness for me. A light bitter-dry palate, with a sweet fruity and honey flavour. Very quaffable, but honey beers typically fail to do much for me.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a clear golden with a somewhat rough, off-white head. Spicy, floral aroma. Medium body with lightly sweet malts and some hard to define notes - somewhat herbal and spicy medicinal perhaps, but quite pleasant really. A lightly bitter finish. Interesting. 200208

Dark yellow, small head. Clear. A litte malty and not too much honey in the taste. Fresh mild aftertaste.

I’ve had this one in New Zealand on my honeymoon. Visited the brewery too.
Golden colored brew. Flavor is crisp and malty wth indeed some raspberry.
