A pale bronze coloured ale with hints of fruitcake and a dry hoppy finish make this tradiotionally styled ale a real delight to drink.

Bronze amber colour with a nice bubbling head. Smooth and malty with the malts keep coming through. Very nice beer.

Golden reddish. Short head. Mine was too cold; didn’t taste anything, just like a bland uninteresting lager, but when I disappointed left it for half an hour new flavors developed: noticeable maltiness, some sugar and hops, dried fruit and a hint of vanilla.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Nice copper orange pour with a small white head. Some decent lacing is left behind. Aroma falls short for a pale. Smells more like a lager with a touch of citrus behind it. Pale biscuit malts and green fruits show in the taste. Not much of a finish. Rather dull

330ml bottle. Attractive opaque amber hue, small diminishing off-white creamy head, good lacing. Pleasant mix of aromas; fruity; apricot, peach, citrus/marmalade, hint of lime, soy sauce, smokey, whisky, port royal tobacco, honey. Taste is light sweet, medium heavy bitter, light sour, with a long duration. Medium body, lightly creamy texture, light carbonation, long dry bitter slightly astringent finish. A very nice English Pale Ale, though lacking in memorability.

330ml bottle. Carries a big deep thick head of dirty white foam and an amber bronze body. Passionfruit and rockmelon in the aroma are pleasing on the nose. Good mouthfeel and flavour with mild bitterness and a lingering aftertaste. Not outstanding but a good honest pale ale.

As Amber as amber comes in a pint. Off-white head that subsides in time. Aromas of buttercups, lemon peel and apricots and it’s the apricots that the flavour veers more toward (tinned apricots) and then there’s a shockwave of bitterness that attacks the tongue and the mouth leaving a full, long, lingering finish. So much better than I remember it from a few years ago.

Very short head but hung around the distance on a orangey golden body. Not too much on the nose, a little bit of sweet malt followed with piney hops. Soft carbonation, light to medium body, some cardboard notes in the taste. Drinkable but average. Couldn’t read the best before date.

Clear orange-tinted golden, moderate white head. Fresh peachy and citrus hop aroma, sweet malt. Fruity hop and sweet malt in great balance, surprisingly bitter finsh.
