500ml bottle served in a pint glass. A: Pours a dark orange to copper color forming a medium creamy and thin bubbled light yellow head. Clear. Good retention and tons of lingering, molasses and bit soapy lacings left in the glass S: Great notes of caramel, sweet malts and flowery hops in the nose. Notes of dry fruits like raisins and plums. Roasted malts. Hops have grassy and pine profile T: Slightly sweet upfront. Strong notes of toffee, caramel malts, crystal malts, dry fruits: raisins and plums. Grapefruit. Roasted malts. Crispy and biscuity. Great hops profile. A mix of grassy, a bit citrus and quite piny. Great bitterness. Excellent bittersweet combination. Perfect 115 IBUs. M: Medium body. Medium carbonation. Caramel and piny hops in the aftertaste O: Great drinkability. One of the today’s top 5 Brazilian IPAs [ BA Review @ 7/19/2013 ]

Aroma is sweet & citrus. The bitterness hits as soon as you slip this into your mouth (ooh-er!) making this a showcase for some sharp hops rather than a balanced beer. Rated by BrewTom

Bottle at Delerium Cafe in Rio de Janeiro. Deep golden, a bit hazy, lively white head. Sweet pale malts, a touch of caramel, with herbal hops that are more bitter than they are aromatic. Not as bright as the 1000 IBU or the Amara.

average frothy offwhite head. fair lacing. mostly diminishing. clear average amber body. aroma: caramel, moderate hoppy, orange. if: moderate sweet light bitter. ff: light sweet heavy bitter; average duration. palate: medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, metallic finish. Dulçor lembra chá mate de pêssego, amargor lupulado. Esconde bem o álcool, mas traz ligeiro aquecimento no final. Sabor padrão, sem defeitos nem diferenciais. Violento amargor não a credencia para iniciantes.80 s

Slightly hazy copper/orangeish color with a creamy medium beige head. Aroma is resinous pine with a slight peppery note. Flavor is resinous hops with some caramel, a littly bit too boozy and a bitter but not overly bitter lingering aftertaste. Medium to full palate, just a bit of burning. Warming. Ok IPA, a little bit too rough.

Um ótimo equilíbrio entre maltes e lúpulo. Mesmo tendo 115 IBU, não se torna exageradamente amarga.

from Mondial de la Bière 2013, Mulhouse - quite clear ruby-amber beer with a modest foam left; aroma of quince marmalade, tea and pine needles; full-bodied and quite chewy palate, a bit sticky, assertive and solidly bitter (I would never guess 115 IBU though); quite dry and long hoppy finish with more notes of quince marmalade and resine
