My first sip was pretty bad. but after a few beers i started to enjoy this New England Ale. You could do a lot worse than this, but I wouldn’t buy again.

Bottle. A pretty good standard ale. More of a session beer than something memorable. Good for summer

Average pale ale. A little malty. Nice strong hop flavor for a pale ale. Overall just an average beer.

On draft at the hotel, enjoyed while out on a family "errand" to go get some milk (which only the bar had). So, having a pint only served cover on not going out to a covenience store, heh. Pour was amber colored, generous head, ok lacing. The aroma was caramel, some tofee, and vegetal type notes. The flavor followed, carbonation finishing the brew with a lingering off aftertaste. Not a great brew, hops not nearly prominent enough. A pretty poor EPA.

Aroma is malty with a tiny hint of spice. Flavor starts out a little on the sweet side with some hop bitterness for balance. Pretty standard stuff, but good and easy to drink.
