A medium-bodied, unfiltered, English-style pale ale with subtle hoppiness and a smooth malty flavor that has made it our flagship product.

Ick. I’m surprised by Ipswich; this is indeed a bad beer. Pours orange. Thick off-white head. Smells and tastes of eggs, cabbage, plastic, heat, and Bible paper. Vegetables and soy by swallow. Fuck this.

Pretty good maltiness. Not too much English Ale flavor, but good overall. ---Rated via BeerBuddy for iPhone. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg pour at the Powder Keg Beer and Chili Festival. Aroma is malty bread more than hops. Appearance is hazy golden brown with white frothy head with nice lacing and very trace sparkle. Taste is medium malty sweetness balanced with mild bitter with some corn chip. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with lively carbonation and bitter finish at the back of the mouth. Overall, a decent beer and true to the style but not a stand out.

Poured from a Bomber into a pint glass. Aroma- Has a strong ale smell with a hop and yeast mix. Appearance- This is a pretty good looking amber colored ale, with an off-white head. Taste- Pretty average ale to me, the yeast flavor isn’t bad but it detracts from the overall flavor for me. Palate- This is a medium bodied brew with moderate carbonation. It has an oily feel and has a dry finish. Overall-Run of the mill ale to me, I love the packaging but that was the best part of the experience.

22 oz bottle, bottled on 6/23/14
Hazy pale golden, thick two finger head, and sticky lace.
Very light aroma. Biscuty malts, grassy hops.
Flavor is mild as well. Sweet bready malts, light spicy, grassy hops. Finish is dry, but short lived.
Looks better than it tastes, not a bad beer, just not very flavorful.

Flagship? Really? Mediocre predominately malt aroma. Decent copper pour w/ a foamy white head & sporadic lacing. The taste is of light malt & maybe the slightest hint of hops. Pretty well balanced but overall quite plain & uninteresting.

Backlog rating on 8-17-2012 (Bottle) This beer has a medium sized off-white head that mostly diminishes, golden hazy body, fizzy, fast rising carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is caramel malt and grassy hops. The flavor is lightly bitter, caramel malt, semi-sweet, and grassy hops. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is light-medium bodied. This beer is quaffable with the malt upfront and the hops taking a backseat.
