2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 wcampbell (721) - Clemson, USA - AUG 9, 2009
Simple beer with not a lot going on. Light bodied and drinkable. Mild wheat and diluted hops. No spice. Weak citrus finish. Well balanced, but a little watery. Needed extra body to be a good beer.

A slightly cloudy and hoppy deep unfiltered golden brew. Light sweet malty flavors. Sticky, bittering finish. OK, but not very refreshing for a summer beer.

12oz Bottle, purchased at I.M. Gan - Warwick, RI. Malty, clean, light hop aroma. This almost works for me as a summer slammer, but it’s a nip too sweet, a bit too bitingly bitter in the finish, and just not stunning. It’s not bad, but it’s not what I’d reach for when my thirst was scorching.

seltzer water with some flavoring I think. Wait, nope it was a ruse. God damn it.

12 oz. bottle got at the local quick stop. Honey yellow. Nose of flowers and natural honey, quite nice. A nice blend of wheat, honey and floral hops. Medium bitterness in the finish. Very simple brew but still has some drinkability. ok.

UPDATED: JUN 1, 2011 12 oz. bottle from a 6 pack I can find this at many locations in the area. Honey yellow. Nose is floral with trace of raw honey from a honey comb. A nice blend of wheat, honey and floral hops. Very simple brew but still has some drinkability. However it has a bit too much bitterness in the finish for me. It’s ok, but I don’t see myself drinking again..
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 JohnnyMummbles (151) - Pitman, New Jersey, USA - MAY 3, 2011
Poured a hazy golden with a thick white head. Aroma is of honey, sugar, malt and citris. Flavor is rather bland and has a bitter hop finish. Not what I was expecting from a summer ale.

12 oz bottle, c/o my bro-in-law: pours a pale, hazy honey hue; thin, sticky white head. Aroma of honey, sweet malt, some hops, though they’re more Euro than US in profile. Flavour is weirdly bland - all the elements are there, but instead of melding they sort of become a muddled nonsensical mess. Not to say that it’s bad - anything but, but the package is frustrating in its "almost-there" profile. Good, if beguiling, brew.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BiddleBrau (660) - Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 22, 2010
Clear golden with faint head. Malt and grain in the nose, slightly fruity. Malt is initial flavor but gives way to dry hop profile. There is a hint of smokiness.

Pours a cloudy light golden color. Aroma is full of citrus up front, spices, malts, candy, bread, and some pepper. Flavor is of sweeter malts, citrus, hops, and a little earthiness. Leaves a slightly bitter citrus finish. Definitely a good pick for the summer.
