3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Eli Cannon's in Middletown, CT. This didn't taste like a wheat beer. The fact that I followed up a Magic Hat HiPA with this probably won't yeild the most accurate rating. Arrived looking golden and lightly hazy. Light white head. Aroma is mild and slightly malty, with no perceptable hops. A little herbal, but I think I'm trying to smell hops at this point. Crisp and slightly dry in the finish. Light malty sweetness with maybe a balanced hop bitterness. The malt wasn't very overpowering, even considering the light body, so I'm assuming the hops were there, but I just couldn't taste it. I'd give it a thumbs up for hazy humid New England summer. Not the most intriguing beer, but hits the spot when it's hot.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
(Bottle) I was impressed this ale would hold the white fluffy head throughout the entire length of the glass, complete with lacing. Nice unfiltered light golden complexion with persistent light combination. The flavor is light without being too watery or weak. Very drinkable for warm weather beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Flowery, with some earthy and spicy notes, and a wheaty, yeasty and floral finish. Pretty good.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
12 ounce bottle. loudy gold color. Small rocky white head. Light estery malt aroma, a bit sulphery with lemon. Tart salty malt flavor lacks any real fruit or wheat character. Rather boring.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A slightly cloudy and hoppy deep unfiltered golden brew. Light sweet malty flavors. Sticky, bittering finish. OK, but not very refreshing for a summer beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz Bottle, purchased at I.M. Gan - Warwick, RI. Malty, clean, light hop aroma. This almost works for me as a summer slammer, but itís a nip too sweet, a bit too bitingly bitter in the finish, and just not stunning. Itís not bad, but itís not what Iíd reach for when my thirst was scorching.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz. bottle got at the local quick stop. Honey yellow. Nose of flowers and natural honey, quite nice. A nice blend of wheat, honey and floral hops. Medium bitterness in the finish. Very simple brew but still has some drinkability. ok.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: JUN 1, 2011 12 oz. bottle from a 6 pack I can find this at many locations in the area. Honey yellow. Nose is floral with trace of raw honey from a honey comb. A nice blend of wheat, honey and floral hops. Very simple brew but still has some drinkability. However it has a bit too much bitterness in the finish for me. Itís ok, but I donít see myself drinking again..

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured a hazy golden with a thick white head. Aroma is of honey, sugar, malt and citris. Flavor is rather bland and has a bitter hop finish. Not what I was expecting from a summer ale.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle, c/o my bro-in-law: pours a pale, hazy honey hue; thin, sticky white head. Aroma of honey, sweet malt, some hops, though theyíre more Euro than US in profile. Flavour is weirdly bland - all the elements are there, but instead of melding they sort of become a muddled nonsensical mess. Not to say that itís bad - anything but, but the package is frustrating in its "almost-there" profile. Good, if beguiling, brew.
