Cask@Akkurat. Pitch black colour, small brownish head. Aroma is coffee, caramel malts and some raisins. Flavour is very much the same with also some hints of roastiness. Pleasant and good balance.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Very dark brown. Sweet and fruity with plum brandy and caramel up front. Thick and malty with vague notes of heavily roasted coffee. Woody and solid with light resiny finish.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 16 Feb 2008) Black colour with hints of brown, foamy pale brown head. Roasted, slightly fruity nose with dark fruit and notes of blueberries. Coffee in the background. Roasted, fruity taste with dark fruit, blueberries, chocolate and freshly ground coffee. Coffee more evident in the taste than in the aroma. Body slightly below medium, leaning in the sweet direction. A nice porter, but wouldn’t suffer from some more coffee and body.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Black with brown edges with a large creamy beige foam. Mild aroma of nougat, roasted coffee and black chocolate with touches of soil. Medium bodied with strong notes of roasted coffee, nougat, fudge and coconut. Long finish of coffee, roasted nuts, coconut, smoke with plenty of hayish hops.
