Bead yeast aroma, sweet flavour, a full mouthfeel, but it’s not for me. Reminds me of some home brew I once made. Sorry!

Bottle: Unclear, amber coloured, smaller off-white loose head; honey, dried fruits, caramel and molasses in the nose, completed by a distinctive hayish-hoppy background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, relatively light bodied for a beer of 18.2% gravity; lingering fruity and caramelly finish with delicate hoppy traces in the aftertaste. Not exciting, but pretty pleasant…

500ml bottle (Irlbacher Bar, Riga)
Lovely sweet malty aroma, like salvator. Looks like salvator, touch hazzier, like you poured all the crap in, and more. Body, totally full and sweet and smooth. Taste is like a learner salvator. Everything from the maltiness and sweetness, but a little less imposing. I love Salvator, and this gives me everything I want from such a beer. Great doppelbock, Could happily have another half litre.
