Frovigalning (2720) - Örebro, SWEDEN - NOV 23, 2013
Bottle from Systembolaget (mixpack). Midl smell that reminds me of sticking my nose in a bag of freshly ground malt. Similar taste. A metallic note draws down the points quite allot for me.

mile (2749) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 24, 2013
Bottle. Golden, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate malty and sweetish aroma, light caramel and light bread, faint hoppyness. Moderate, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light caramel and light bread. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light caramel and faint hoppyness, light alcohol. 5,7% brings some extra body - otherwise quite typical märzen.

PalCabral (111) - SWEDEN - NOV 8, 2013
Bottle from Systembolaget Bavarian six pack. Pours straw blond with a frothy bubbly head that settles to a slight vail. Much too pale for a festbier in my opinion. Aroma is malty and grainy, nice. Taste is malty and alcoholic, followed up by lingering bitterness. Helles Bock comes to mind and I think the dear peeps at Irlbacher have mixed up Oktoberfest/Märzen beer with Helles Bock, for some obscure reason. Not a favorite.

Nettes rundes Bier! 9/11/10/10/8/11
