(bottle) Cloudy, chestnut-brown colour with a tall and tanned foamy head. Toasty malty aroma with a moderate wheat-character, rather restrained fruity notes of dried fruits and a distinctively spicy touch reminding of thyme, accompanied by shades of chocolate. Moderately sweet flavour with a tinge of bitterness, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toasty and slightly chocolatey malty and wheaty taste, again with rather delicately fruity notes and mild phenolic spices; mildly sweet and wheaty finish with notes of chocolate in the aftertaste. All in all a fine and rounded Dunkelweizen. 03.XII.11

It’s a unclear, dark brown beer with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel, roasted malt, yeast and a little fruit and hints of rubber??. The sweet flavor has notes of caramel, overripe fruit, herbs, light yeast and roasted malt. The finish is slightly dry.

also says Dunkel Export on the label. 5.4%. makes a point on the label of being from light malt but calls itself a dunkel. anyway, looks quite light and gunky with a moon surface head. raw sugar aroma, tastes composty with burnt vanilla. quite sour and didnt work for me
