On tap at Maiden in the Mist in Portland, OR--Poured a light straw copper golden body. Thin with a mild fizzy white head. Crisp and wavering, but with some hops presence. Diacytol yet refreshing overall. Nothing to write home about, but way better than the usual suspects in the shitty mainstream beer world.

Had this beer on 12/29/2005. Aroma is a light malt scent. Color is a bright gold with good carbonation and a thin head. Taste is light and smooth. Starting with a light body it goes down easy with a smooth feel. Finish is a light malt flavor backed by a faint bitterness and hop flavor. Reminds me a bit of Miller High Life. Not bad for a Pale Lager.

A friend from PA brings this back. All the PA expats gather around and sing the virtues of Iron City beer. Yuk .. kinda has the same crappy taste you see in Rolling Rock yet for some strange reason there is a subset of humans who like it. Might be better if I dissolved some Crystal Light in there.

Not the worst thing out there. Pours a light head with a straw color. More malty than anything. Is it an expensive IPA? No, but no worse or better than a large macro lager.

I have never tasted rubbing alcohol before but after drinking this stuff I think I know what it may taste like. It tasted like a water downed verison of rubbing alcohol.

In a 12 oz Aluminum bottle (take the worst qualities of a can and make it into a bottle- brilliant)- poured thin transparent yellow, no head. Aroma, barely any, of malt. 1st sip made me think it was Budweiser- noticeable "wannabe" malt taste, no finish, goes down like water. Bad misuse of water...

Locally Whole Foods is carrying this beer at a jacked up price. The appearance of this beer is the highlight. Pours a bright, clear golden color with a small white head. Lacking in aroma, maybe a touch of cereal in the nose. Watery with mild flavors of cereal and honey, and a touch of hops in the background. It beats a bud.

simple yeast aroma and very pale straw yellow color. Little flavor, starts a bit skunky, finishes sweet with no hop characteristics. Great for those who don’t like that ’beer’ taste.
