An underrated and underappreciated historical Pittsburgh brew. The aroma is mostly hops, maybe some light malt, and a bit of adjuncts. The appearance is a dark yellow-gold color with a moderate, bubbly white head. Taste is bitter and somewhat sour, with a hearty iron effect. Thin, somewhat oily, and only light carbonation. A great cheap beer that continues to stand the test of time.

The cheese and crackers don’t even make it tasty... guess there’s a reason why it’s only $1.50!

Pours fizzy and yellow. The aroma is bland and lifeless. The watery taste is of very mild malt and a touch of hops. The finish is equally unimpressive.

bready, yeasty aroma, typical lager aroma. Pours very light blonde with a thick white head, that does not last. Crisp and light, some honey malt and some noticable hops. Its still very light.

Straight from the can. Gold pour with huge head. I smelled corn and malt. I actually tasted mild hops. Nothing really good about this.

Bottle, not too bad, pretty basic for a pale lager, tastes better than the bmc crap. Watery, with a slighty darker yellow color. Basic light matls, hops are non existant. Reminds me of drummond bros.

12 oz bottle. Its turning into swill night here. Bought a sixer for $4.99 at Total wine. Knew full well it was nowhere near a “craft brew”. Its sweet and mild cereal malts. No hops or bitterness that I can detect. Lawnmower beer on a par with PBR. At least its drinkable, and not as watery as a Bud Light.
