Great refreshing beer. Nothing to write home about, nothing to wow you, but definitely a go-to beer when you’ve finished a long day of work.

12 oz can from New Seasons - What else was I going to drink for the Super Bowl? The official beer of the Pittsburgh Nation, of course! Mother’s milk. Anyway, tastes better than I remembered from my days at Penn State, but not great nonetheless. It falls right in there with all of its cheap lager brethren.

Bottle, pale, clear, sparkling, typical mass produced lager. As a micro/hoppy drinker I find this to be close to seltzer water. $1.49/12oz

12 oz. can at Full Throttle in Seattle. Straw yellow. Minimal head. This has a very subtle Pilsner malt aroma. Diacetyl and corn hit my nostrils. This is slightly offensive. Diacetyl taste with a bit of sweet. Decent texture. This beer doesn’t have much going on.

Standard generic lager in appearance and aroma, and taste. Sweet like a soda. <$1/12oz

Pours pale gold with thin white head and some lacing. Notes of straw and hay. Balanced taste, but weak.

Bottle at primantis. Smells like a cheap beer. Tastes better than a Budweiser product. Malty with a yeasty finish. All around ok.

Onslow (639) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - OCT 31, 2010
Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Typical pale lager look (nothing wrong with that.) Aroma of funky corn and wet news paper. Flavor is sweet corn, a little dry astringent / sour in the finish that may be hops. I like many American Pale Lagers, so I’m not dismissing htis out a bias against the style. It’s just a lack luster brew.
