1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 CapFlu (3767) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 22, 2005
(355 aluminum BOTTLE) Purchased at the LCBO in Ottawa, ON. Pours a highly carbonated, deep golden body with a quick dissipating, white head. Nose is full-on TIN - like the bottle. A very syrupy sweet and corn flavour. Finishes somewhat clean. The nose is such a turn-off though...

The benefit of having a pale lager in an aluminum bottle is that you know it’s not going to be a skunky pale lager. This one is alright, keep it as cold as possible and don’t pour it out. If it warms, you get more of that bad corny flavour and if you pour it out you would imediately be disappointed by the weak colour and flavour.
2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 hotstuff (3213) - Indiana, USA - AUG 16, 2005
Aluminum bottle. White small head that mostly dissipated, fine-medium sized bubbles, fair lacing, transparent, carbonated, and a yellow hue. Corn aroma and a somewhat sweet malt flavor that wasn’t all that great. Tingly mouthfeel and light body. Uninteresting.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 caledonian (367) - Surrey, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 15, 2005
Neat aluminum bottle, at least you know it’s not going to be lightstruck. Poured a disappointing pale color with weak head. Wet cardboard aroma. Sweet, cheap lager flavor. Flat texture. Boring. Pity. Bottle is the best part.
1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 blankboy (4287) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 14, 2005
Aluminium bottle. Nice fancy bottle, the beer must be good...right? When I poured it in a glass and saw the flat clear pale yellow I knew not to expect much. There was a large fizzy white head but it quickly dissipated. So there it sits with no carbonation and no head -- it’s not very mouth watering. The aroma of grain, corn and yeast was sour or off and unpleasant. Well after all that I am not dying to taste it but here goes: First thing I notice is how watery it is. There’s barely any taste at all, like a glass of water with a bit of crappy generic macro beer mixed in. A completely useless beer.

Tasted in toronto. Tasted in english pint glass. Appearance is very light yellow, clear with thin head. Weak aroma, slight corn smell, slightly sweet scent. Watery flavour, thin, weak and not very good.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 fatty (363) - Perkiomenville, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 13, 2005
Poured from the sweet aluminum can. Pale yellow body with medium white head. Medium carbonation. Aroma of light sweet corn. Light, thin sour hop flavor. Not bad, but doesn’t really offer much.
