Metal bottle. Clear pale color with an average white head that diminished quickly. Light grass hop aroma. Light body with a watery texture with soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor with a bitter finish of short duratoin. Better than my expectations.

Pale straw pour. The nose is fairly sweet with a bit of corn aroma. Bland, boring and not very good at all.

Bottle can at LCBO. Pale yellow lager with collapsable head. Sweet vcorn and rotten eggs in aroma, like Pittsburg smokestacks. Light malted mineral water, just as refreshing (considering the temp.).

Brown glass bottle. Grain and corn and cigarette nose. Flavor is wet corn and hay, grains and starchy ash and tobacco. Tastes awful, simply put.

The Lure:
Nice can. Malt husks are floating on top of the water I think, with some grass blades. Doesn’t smell awful, obviously made for chugging.

The Festivities:
Reeks of adjuncts (maybe corn?). Cleanly brewed thankfully, I may have even noticed hops. Urine dominates though, but very subtlely. The classic blend of bland and blond.

Transcendence:
Go Steelers (buuurrrp) go!

On tap at Blue Palms of all places. Didn’t finish the sample size pour. Speaking of pours, it comes in the glass with no head over a pale yellow body. Aroma? All I could smell was soft malt-tea. Nothing else at all. Flavor of corn, grain, urine, butter, acetaldehyde, and adjuncts. Watery and fizzy. Blah.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2007 Funky shaped aluminum bottle courtesy of hopdog. Pours gold with a sustained white creamy head. Smells of citrus, nuts, apples, grapes. Tastes of nutty malt with some underlying corn starch sweetness. Finishes lightly peppery and nutty. One of the more flavorful pale lagers I’ve tried over the years.

Way too sweet-dextrose? Makes plain lager drinkable though. Artificial candy aroma. Appropriately carbonated.Thin mouthfeel. Not worth finishing bottle
