Another nice, watery, underwhelming lager from the fine folks at Iron City. Love the brewery name, that’s about the best I can say for this one.

Aluminum bottle in the Iron City. Pale gold, bubbly white head. Grainy, vegetal, a bit metallic. Thin bodied, not too harsh. Blah.

daboskabouter (1470) - Fergus, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 16, 2005
Pale straw yellow colour with a small white head. The aroma is sweet and lightly grassy with hints of corn. The body is sweet and grainy with hints of sugar and light fruity notes. Routine lager here.

Yellow with small white head. Aroma is skunky at first then it improves slightly. Flavor of corn malt.

Standard generic lager in appearance and aroma, and taste. Sweet like a soda. <$1/12oz

hell of a lot better than IC light.....but still it’s like having a glass of water with a few extra ingredients. actual beer ingredients dont make themselves known

Reid (1385) - Salem,Oregon, Oregon, USA - OCT 30, 2010
Bought at ’Lifesource" Salem. 12 oz single. Apperance is actually good for this type of lager light golden with a half inch thick creamy, frothy white head..that actually sticks around. Aroma however is the usual sour corn mash cardboard mess!! Taste is better than the aroma..the corn is there in abundance but mt so sour and the malts actually seem nice and present.Nice semi sweet finish. Good on the palate, that is above average for style. Goes down well.\Overall a nice American lager..reminds me a bit of Full Sail’s Session..simple traditional American beer.

Clear yellow appearance with a small white head. Grassy, mild malt aroma, light on the hops, slightly vegatal. Clean, crisp taste, fairly dry, with a short lived finish. Just don’t let it warm up. Preferrable to a BMC.
