Stubby Pint bottle. Very traditional macro lager, remarkable only for the metallic (iron, eh?) flavor. Not too good.

A very average beer from the labeling to the taste. That might have been what they were going for. It’s what you would expect, light and watery with a grassy aroma.

Yellow color and foamy. Smell of malt and corn. Taste of minor hops and malt with a harsh bitterness. A little skunky at the end also.

12 ounce bottle. $4.99 a six pack. Pours a light gold with an average white head. Aroma of sweet malt, corn and just a tiny bit of hops. Taste is mainly sweet malt. Should have known better.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2006 Bottle: Looks like a normal beer. Has almost no head. Aroma is carboard. Taste is lacking, mouthfeel is decent.

A steel bottle of beer? Really? Great idea, average pale lager. I have to admit, seeing a bottle made of metal was the main selling point. That and the fact that a single cost about a buck. Overall points for that originality.

Uglyradio (791) - Greenville, South Carolina, USA - AUG 25, 2003
Clear, bubbly, golden colored body with a thin, white head. The head dissipates rather quickly, leaving just a bit of foam around the edges. The aroma is sweet, corny, and grainy with no hop presence. It has a light body with crisp carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. The flavor is corn sweet rather than malty sweet. The finish is crisp and mildly sweet. No off flavors, just a corny sweetness. Not bad, easily drinkable and actually a bit refreshing.

Ok, honestly, this beer (and any beer like it) gets bonus appearance points for the aluminum bottle. Didn’t expect much from this beer, but was pleasantly surprised. One of the better lager’s I’ve had in a while.
