Not to bad for the price. 140yrs of brewing is very impressive.

better than i was expecting. lite golden color, no real head to speak of. kinda malty, cereal-like with some corn sweetness to follow. a finishing aftertaste of sour bread. was ok, probably would be alright if i lived in PA and it was cheap and plentiful. otherwise pretty much forgettable.

I remembered this much worse than today. I had it in the can years ago, bottle today. A slight caramel taste, easy to drink, not the worst out there.

Can- Pours a golden yellow with a big head that fades quickly. Mild aroma of some sweetness and some grain. Not much here. Again a mild sweetness and grain with a trace of bitterness and a clean finish. Light body, a bit crisp and refreshing. Nothing wrong with an old school beer once in a while. Better than most of the BMC offerings.

Pours pale gold with thin white head and some lacing. Notes of straw and hay. Balanced taste, but weak.

Gains points for being my first beer ever. Loses points for being crap. Gains points again for the cool retro cans and entertaining commercials. Loses them again for being crap. And so on.

12oz. bottle. Clear yellow(straw colored), bubbly body. Thin, white, quick head. Sweet, yeasty, skunky, grass aroma. Malty, bland, grassy flavor. Not a real great taste. Slight harsh, soapy aftertaste. Eeehhhh.

Just another medicore American style lager. Might be good ice cold after mowing the lawn.
