Rust in a can!

I finally broke down and bought one of these just because of the cool metal bottle. Unfortunately that’s all that was outstanding about this beer. Corn and grain aroma. Corn adjunct and grainy taste. Unpleasent roughness. Nothing here to make me want to buy another one. I will keep the bottle though
2.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Goblincat (367) - Westland, Michigan, USA - NOV 30, 2004
Really cool bottle. Somehow managed to get lightly skunked even though there is no way light could get in... Maybe it was done on purpose at the brewery. Sweet malt, sour fruit, and light skunk combine. Looking past the skunk, there might be a beer similar in taste to Fat Tire or Dos Equis.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 caledonian (367) - Surrey, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 15, 2005
Neat aluminum bottle, at least you know it’s not going to be lightstruck. Poured a disappointing pale color with weak head. Wet cardboard aroma. Sweet, cheap lager flavor. Flat texture. Boring. Pity. Bottle is the best part.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 NJJereme (365) - Saint Petersburg, Florida, USA - NOV 17, 2007
Not the worst thing out there. Pours a light head with a straw color. More malty than anything. Is it an expensive IPA? No, but no worse or better than a large macro lager.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 fatty (363) - Perkiomenville, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 13, 2005
Poured from the sweet aluminum can. Pale yellow body with medium white head. Medium carbonation. Aroma of light sweet corn. Light, thin sour hop flavor. Not bad, but doesn’t really offer much.
3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 ronaldtheriot (362) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - AUG 28, 2011
Poured from a 12 oz. bottle purchased in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (not sold in Louisiana). Iron City Beer has an almost nonexistent, white head, and a clear, golden-yellow, fairly bubbly appearance, and very little lacing. The aroma is a subtle grain, and taste is of sweet grain, biscuit, grass, and a touch of hop bitterness at the back end of the sip. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Iron City finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and dry. Drinkability is quite high with this. Overall, I think it’s a good American-style lager, and I suggest you try it. RJT
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20 TheSponge (331) - Lynnwood, Washington, USA - FEB 20, 2008
16 oz. bottle purchased at Central Market in Mill Creek, WA. Pours a golden yellow, with a head that quickly goes away. This one is okay, but nothing special.
