For an american standard it isn't that bad. It's watery and rather bland. The aroma is very sweet. It has lots of fizz. The overall taste of the beer isn't bad, though. It isn't foul like Budweiser or Coors. Good beer for a long hot summer day while cutting grass.

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2003 If you visit Pittsburgh in the winter, be sure you BYOB. Or you will be faced with the task of finding a place that sells beer to go and the only place in the city that sells beer to go is a pub. Your choices will be: Iron City, Iron City Ice, Iron City Light and Budweiser. That was my introduction to Iron City, and I have to admit that I kind of like this beer. And I love the extra large cans it comes in, a real invitation to severly adjust your attitude. It works for me.

grass and moldy cheese aroma. cremey palate, but it’s cheesy. for the most part this is grass, corn, bread, and cheese. weird. cool bottle, though--points for the aluminum beer bottle! however, this shit ain’t refreshing. it’s... a... thickish lager and i don’t like that, but it’s not bad... i just don’t know what the funk these guys were thinking when the recipe was being made! not what i expected!

In a bottle shaped can (or is it a metal bottle?). I was totally expecting a light tasting beer with not much to it but was pleasantly surprised by it’s body and depth of flavor. Aroma was a little off but the flavour was reminiscent of an abbey dubbel but with hints corn. Cheers!

Really cool bottle. Somehow managed to get lightly skunked even though there is no way light could get in... Maybe it was done on purpose at the brewery. Sweet malt, sour fruit, and light skunk combine. Looking past the skunk, there might be a beer similar in taste to Fat Tire or Dos Equis.

I remembered this much worse than today. I had it in the can years ago, bottle today. A slight caramel taste, easy to drink, not the worst out there.

Clear golden pour with a touch of red, large lasting head. Hops and slight sweetness in the scent. More taste then expected but still grainy and watery. An average generic ’beer’

Unusual aluminum bottle. a rather pale, straw and very clear yellow color with a small white head. flavor is quite bland and rather non-desccipt.
