Bottle. I used to drink this frequently back in my PA days, but I found it in FL so heres my rating. Clear straw colored pour with a decent white head. Aroma is mostly just grainy with a little hop presence. Has a grainy malty flavor, a little bit like rice crispies. Not great but alot better than the big guys AB, Coors, and MGD. Non offensive and easy drinking.

Poured a golden color with a small white head and no lacing. Sweet, malty, corn, grain aroma. Grainy, malty, lightly sour, abbrasive mouthfeel. Extra appearance points for innovative aluminum bottle.

This stuff looks very carbonated. Nothing special otherwise, just another average looing lager. Aroma reminds me of hops mixed with detergent. Not pleasant tasting really, but not nearly as watery as I expected. Not that I it had my thinking malt or hops... Taste is strangely stale. No ingredient list on the can, but I'm guessing lots of corn and by now I'm smelling it too.

12oz alluminum bottle given to me by fatty (gee, thanks!). Poured a light and see through golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas and tastes of corn and grain. Light metallic finish. This one had Dan Marino on the back (I hope they paid him a lot to ’endorse’ this one).

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2006 Bottle: Looks like a normal beer. Has almost no head. Aroma is carboard. Taste is lacking, mouthfeel is decent.

I’ve read that Pennsylvania was looking for environmentally friendly ways to rid itself of the endless slag heaps left behind by its decaying steel industry. Take just one sip of Iron City and you’ll discover were the slag is going. Seriously, if your looking to turn your colon into a Superfund site, drink some of this crap. By the way, the character rescued by our hero "Michael" in the Deer Hunter didn’t loose his legs as a result of a fall from a helicopter while fleeing the VC. He lost them as a result of Iron City abuse. Interestingly, this is the same movie where Rolling Rock is praised as a "good beer." Oh the humanity!

Aluminium bottle. Nice fancy bottle, the beer must be good...right? When I poured it in a glass and saw the flat clear pale yellow I knew not to expect much. There was a large fizzy white head but it quickly dissipated. So there it sits with no carbonation and no head -- it’s not very mouth watering. The aroma of grain, corn and yeast was sour or off and unpleasant. Well after all that I am not dying to taste it but here goes: First thing I notice is how watery it is. There’s barely any taste at all, like a glass of water with a bit of crappy generic macro beer mixed in. A completely useless beer.
