1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Radek Kliber (5171) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - OCT 27, 2005
Plane sweetness in the nose, touch of alcohol. Medium bodied, sweet but shallow malt, slightly acidic, alcoholic medium. Short finish. Very simplistic lager, with noticeable alcohol which is strange for such weak brew.

hell of a lot better than IC light.....but still it’s like having a glass of water with a few extra ingredients. actual beer ingredients dont make themselves known
1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 CapFlu (3767) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 22, 2005
(355 aluminum BOTTLE) Purchased at the LCBO in Ottawa, ON. Pours a highly carbonated, deep golden body with a quick dissipating, white head. Nose is full-on TIN - like the bottle. A very syrupy sweet and corn flavour. Finishes somewhat clean. The nose is such a turn-off though...
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 HogTownHarry (4809) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - AUG 3, 2005
UPDATED: AUG 26, 2005 Bottle/can (12oz?). Anyone else have a problem with "iron" city beer in an "aluminum" cottle/ban? Anyway, with a rough pour only managed a weak fizzy white head that disappeared before I put the opener down - I could smell the corn and skunk from almost 2 feet away (I have long arms). There’s grain, some stale hops, even sour fruit, but nothing I smell makes me want to drink. But it’s a rating ... tastes like overly sweet generic lager with no carbonation or real flavour. No linger, nothing. Not awful, but why not just drink tapwater?
1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 molassesfan (202) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - MAR 18, 2007
Pours dark gold with a small head. Aroma is weird. Tastes like stale hops with a bit of mold. Leaves a strange aftertaste in the mouth. Carbonation is sharp. Not what I expect from a classic.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Trooper11 (468) - Suffolk, Virginia, USA - JAN 3, 2007
The bottle says "Premium Lager", that with the 4% rating I am overcome with anticipation of what’s to come.....here goes. Small foamy white head leaves a bit of lacing atop this crystal clear yellow brew bubbling with goodness. Aroma is musky maltiness like ripe grapes. A bit peppery, kind of watery, medium bodied, not as malty as IC Light, but underlying malt is apparent. Notes of light fruit with peppery burn on the back of the throat. Good beer to serve to persuade an uninvited guess that he has overstayed his welcome.

bottle. clear yellow sparkling body. averag white head (quickly dissapating). aromas of corn (actually a cheapness). flavor is sweet. not good.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 popkow (198) - New York, New York, USA - JAN 21, 2010
Thin pale yellow body with light watery taste. Not much to say about this lackluster beer.
