Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Typical pale lager look (nothing wrong with that.) Aroma of funky corn and wet news paper. Flavor is sweet corn, a little dry astringent / sour in the finish that may be hops. I like many American Pale Lagers, so I’m not dismissing htis out a bias against the style. It’s just a lack luster brew.

Golden with a lot of bubbles. No real flavor. Taste like a mass produced beer from AB. Nothing special ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Yellow with some uninspired head leaving some lacing on the glass. Smell is sickly sweet, and has some rotten cabbage notes to it.

Aroma: Grainy. Appearance: dog urine. Taste: Toilet water. Palate: raw sewage. Overall: I think my own pee would actually taste better.

Metalchopz (1429) - Quebec, CANADA - FEB 15, 2012
Originally rated July 2005. Sampled from their aluminium bottle. Pours a rich golden colour with hardly no head, no lacing and very low carbonation. The smell is kind of sweet and malty with hints of grass. There is no sweet malt in the taste though, just grain malt at the beginning, and some corn at the finish. Pretty watery mouthfeel. Nothing special here... except the cool bottle.

473 ml can. Typical swill. A bit more muted than the average BMC, more watered down.

It’s better than similar offerings from Miller, Budweiser and Coors. Great for Steelers games.
