0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 Dizzy17 (11) - Jefferson City, USA - MAR 12, 2009
THE WORST! I have tried this beer under several different aliases - as Olde Frothingslosh (loved the "bathing beauty" on the can [what a babe!]), as JR Ewing Beer (when "Dallas" was popular), and as a generic called BEER. All of them were equally bad. The aroma and the palate were hard to describe. So, I’ll just call them "nasty" and let it go at that.

473 ml can. Typical swill. A bit more muted than the average BMC, more watered down.

It’s better than similar offerings from Miller, Budweiser and Coors. Great for Steelers games.

I’m a bit biased since I’m from Pittsburgh. Really not that good, but I would take it over some others in the same category.

Nice, refreshing beer, that is great for tailgating or after a long day of work. Not much complexity but a hair better than any of the macro swill available.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 MarkSachon (122) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 28, 2011
Bottle or can, doesn’t matter which one, the beer is the same it seems. No matter it used to be made in Pittsburgh, it will always be best for a sports event or after a hard day at work before stopping home. Sometimes average is good enough!
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 sinkhole (258) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 21, 2011
Bottle. Tried this while visiting Pittsburgh. Pours a clear pale yellow with little head. Aroma is very mild. Taste is light malt and corn, with not much of a finish (some hops perhaps?). Taste is very macro (Bud-like).
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 jb43 (1648) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 21, 2011
(bottle 6/15/11). Clear gold color. Medium white head, which is mostly diminishing. Moderate biscuit malt aroma and flavor. Avg duration. Dry finish. Thin texture. Moderate carbonation. Spare lacing.

"Iron City is proudly recognized as on of the finest lager producers in the country"- Iron City brewing. I personally beg to differ this stuff is NG. That being said I grab a 6er everytime I’m in the Burgh for props to my old man. He grew up on this and Black Lable. This being the better of the 2 by a large margin
