I.C. Light Mango has a sweet flavor and a twist of the tropics. It’s the perfect beer when you’re craving something light and refreshingly different.

Light yellow, fizzy white cover. Aroma is, yeah mango. Taste is a slight metallic malt, then mango. It isn’t bad. It is just like those Michelob fruity wine cooler beers.

I have to admit that I had pretty low expectations for this one but it turned out to be drinkable. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz clear bottle this beer poured an incredibly pale yellow color with a large foamy white head that faded quickly and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was tangy mango and a hint of peach pits. The flavor was tangy and sweet mango and mixed tropical fruits with an odd sour almost off middle and then more sugar and artificial mango. Medium length finish of sugar and mango. Light body. Better than I expected.

Appearance is a pale yellow. Taste is strongly mango and sweet. Aroma is sweet, but not much character. Overall a cheap fruit beer.

5/6/12. 12oz bottle. Clear golden orange pour. Light skunky aroma with big fruity mango character. Sweet mango flavor, overly fruity and fake - reminds of soap or shampoo - and not much else. Surprisingly unoffensive besides the huge fake fruit flavor.

Tallahassee, FL - New Leaf Market - 12 oz bottle. Light golden sparkling pour, nice bubble action, little to no head. Funky aroma that initially reminds me of Funyuns for some reason. Upon further inspections it is more akin to tropical fruit now-or-laters. Harsh flavor with some artificial mango flavor, some pixie stix sour sweetness, and turns metallic and industrial cleaner like near the finish. Mouthfeel is a bit harsh - leaves your mouth feeling like it just sucked on a mouthful of pennies. Why?

Not the worst light beer I’ve had, but this beer is honestly almost a wine cooler rather than a beer. The mango is so heavy in the nose and comes through a ton in the taste. Not trying to be sexist, but this is what people refer to as a "chick beer".

From bottle. Aroma is that of tart Hawaiian Fruit Punch, mango-esque, and very perfumy as in the spirit of so many Florisgaarden faux fruit lambics. Pale straw yellow, clear, with wispy white head and a tiny bit of sudsy lacing. Light watery body with medium carbonation. The very initial hit of flavoring is not unpleasant, very perfumy and vibrant with tart mango notes. However, this quickly subsides into a muted fruity sweetness and leaves nothing more than the taste of IC Light. Saccharin sweet finish, with little in the way of malt or hop flavors. Watery sweet after.

Blah. I am very technical when I rate so the only reason this scored higher than a 2 is because the aroma was very nice. Strong mango and not much else. Pour was a crystal clear straw gold with a few rising bubbles and a one finger white head. Taste was nasty. Strongly carbonated sugar water with mango filling the taste buds No aftertaste at all. Flavor disappeared mid swallow. Blah

This poured a clear yellow straw color with a white head. Aroma was mangos and nothing else, not artificial though. Flavor was fresh mango fruit, no signs of any beer flavor, but a refreshing mango alcapop.

Thanks to Tedwarhc for this bottle. Served in a tulip. Pours a bright, bright light apricot color with loads of visible carbonation. Big fizzy white head comes and goes super-quickly, but leaves a touch of lacing on the sides of the glass, and there’s a thin collar. The nose brings lots of sugar plus a bit of mango. The flavor is way overly sweet and cloying with a dash of mango. Prickly carbonation and it is sickly sweet. Avoid. Serving type: bottle
