Light golden color, small white foamy head that had a short life then faded quickly leaving little behind.Light malt and corny with a slight grainy side to the aroma.Watery thin feel somce corn and graininess with a faint malty side. There is a slight hop showing in the end but not much.Pretty light brew and dry leaving very little but dust on your palate after it goes down.Over all a pretty poor brew but it might be decent enough for the lawnmower but then theres plenty of better brews out there for that.

I’m not going to give an extensive review. I just had this on tap in Pittsburgh and it was a crisp, light beer. Better than most macro light beers. Pretty enjoyable at a work function.

St. Patty’s Day crap beer at a party. If you’re going to drink a light beer, this is the way to go. Economical, nice looking in appearance, bubbly and golden, with a crisp not too bitter taste that actually has a little hoppiness in it.

This one has earned the distinction of "Pittsburgh’s #1 Best Seller" for good reason. I.C. Light imbues the drinker with special powers, particularly when complemented with Pittsburgh’s #2 Best Seller, the Primanti Sandwich. Gloriously refreshing and never disappointing.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a pale yellow with a small white head. Mild aroma of malt and corn. Taste is very mild malt and grain. Boring.

So light you can hardly taste it. Sad to say, this was/is a very popular brew in my hometown of Pittsburgh, and I was forcefully coerced into trying one long ago. Better to forget your first and hopefully only experience drinking this one.

Draught. Tried this at the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh. Pours extremely light yellow in colour, with virtually no head. Minimal aroma or taste. It’s like 50% regular Iron City beer and 50% water.

Can- Pours a pale golden color with a billowing head that fades quickly and no lacing. Faint aroma of grain with some sweetness. Mild sweetness and grainy flavor. Has a aint bitterness and a fairly clean finish. Light body, crisp & refreshing. Not bad for a light beer. Good Summer beer for backyard activities.

Can. I threw this in as the sixth beer in a mix-a-six of beers I hadn’t tried before. Pours a crystal-clear pale yellow with a white fizzy head that subsides quickly like that on a soda, settling into a sad yellow color with little rising carbonation or visual appeal. I haven’t drank a beer that looked like this since the last time I played beer pong... It’s been a long time. The nose is of cereal grain and a faint blend of plastic mixed with an apple cider vinegar note: truly odd. Light-bodied and thin with a fizzy, drying mouthfeel that ends with an astringent, mineral water-like finish.Translation: this is among the most unpleasant palates that I’ve experienced in a beer. The flavor does not help improve the overall presentation, as it is quite metallic with a dry, plastic-like generic grain (rice?) flavor... if you can even call it that. It doesn’t really taste like something constructed of natural ingredients. This is, quite possibly, the worst beer that I’ve ever sampled. It’s not as "god-awful" as some drain-pours that I’ve tried. Most drain pours, however, still exhibit one or two redeeming characteristics that attribute to a solidly constructed beer (usually the appearance or palate). This beer possesses NONE of those things. It’s not particularly pretty, the aroma is odd, the palate is downright unpleasant and the flavor is like drinking mineral water whilst eating rice cakes in a chemical plant. Had I bothered to pull this beer up on my phone before throwing it into my mix-a-sixer, I could have avoided this train wreck. I do, however, have to give it one positive prop. If it weren’t for occasionally sampling "beers" like this one, I might not fully appreciate the qualities of well-constructed craft beers. I’m not a fan of winter... at all. But it certainly makes me appreciate the spring all that much more for having to go through it.
