Bottle. Im giving this beer every chance to succeed. Proper temperature, Moderately hard pour into a Burgerbrau glass. Its light yellow in color with a small white head. The aroma is light corn and mellow hops. The flavor is tangerine with some straw notes. I went into this thinking it would reek of DMS and happily didnt find any. Its not a bad beer for the style.

1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Light yellow color Not much aroma or taste. I’ve drunk many beers of this through the years. Iron City does a great job of adding special edition cans to my can collection . Not much on the tongue. I gave it a 6 overall rating because its better than a bud

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle. Pours a clear pale straw yellow body with a very minimal fizzy white head that vanished quickly. The nose is corn, water, and a bit of husky grain. The flavor is just as poor, it’s like creamed corn and grain husks with a bit of white bread. Watery and thin with fizzy carbonation. Pretty awful stuff, but I couldn’t turn it down even though I knew if would be. Soft spot in my heart for old guard Pennsylvania breweries.

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Pours clear, bubbly yellow with a thick, if not long-lasting, snow-white head. Aroma is - hello? Earth to Iron City Light! Just a whiff of malt, that’s all. Crisp flavor has a little malt, but it tastes more like seltzer water with a few drops of beer in it. Even the damn gnats that have been plaguing me for a couple weeks aren’t going for this. Mouthfeel is indistinguishable from carbonated water. Well, had to try it.
