tripelthreat (138) - Soquel, California, USA - JAN 21, 2012
Draft at Iron Fist. Dark brown body with very small of white head. Nose is sweet dark fruit, some cherry, and nuttiness. Lots of sweetness and a touch of bitterness. Lots of prune and raisin flavors, some chocolate notes, with the lightly sour cherry flavor coming through at the end as it warmed. Medium body and some lively carbonation at first. Finishes mostly sweet. A decent attempt at a dark Belgian with the added cherry making things a little more interesting.

womencantsail (3934) - Home of Rebecca Black, California, USA - NOV 16, 2011
Pours an almost ruby color with minimal off-white head. Intense cherry aroma, slightly sweet and maybe a little bit of cough medicine. Lots of cherry skins, actually. The flavor is a bit bland. Actually has somewhat of a red grape and wine flavor. Not too much cherry, but a bit of cough medicine. Some bland malt. Meh.

JohnnyJ (3044) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 7, 2011
Draft at the brewery. Cloudy brown, with a small light tan head. Dark malts, chocolate, belgian yeast, cherry, and notes of slightly tart fruit. A pretty decent beer, better then most Iron Fist.

badlizard (4410) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 21, 2011
Dark brown with a creamy tan head. Roasted barley wood coffee vanilla and earthy spice aroma and taste with a citrus and bitter chocolate finish and a silky palate. Very well done brew.
