Very pale as the name insinuates. Much maltier than it is hoppy. Hazy white with good head and lacing. Some mash malt sourness in finish. Light bitterness. Light citrus. Ok. Tap at DC Beer festival.

Unusually pale for of beer of this style and the aromas just smack of Sauvin with grapefruit, passionfruit and ripe green grapes. It makes me homesick for New Zealand and Iím still there and havenít contemplated going anywhere else. The body is a little thinner than I had hoped with a good bitter twinge of citric grapefruit and some fluffy mouthfeel. It becomes more acidic and the bitterness ramps up the longer it sits on the palate. Acceptably tasty. I would need a few of these on tap in order for me to become a fan though.

Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours hazy wit color with a slight white head. Light floral/fruit aroma. Med body. Flavor is lots of hop, largely citrus, over a light malt backbone (slightly roasty). It develops some significant grapefruit rind after a bit. Really quite an impact for such a low ABV. Would be good to have a few of these around.

Solid Am Pale Ale. On draft at Two Stones. Pour was golden to slight straw in color, generous head on top. Aroma of fresh citrus and pine hops, maybe some cereal malts. Flavor all the same, grapefruits at the fore, highly drinkable, herbal and floral elements in the finish. Mouthfeel was hearty for the style, amply carbonated and invigorating. Nice stuffs. Highly sessionable.

Pretty good pale ale. Very elegant, light in color and very fragrant. Nice white head. I will have another one. Very refreshing, best beer on this tour so far...

Sampled at GBBF 2013, London - Day 2. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a fine, white cream head. Pithy citrus in the nose, lemon and mild grapefruit. Light sweet flavor, somewhat juicy but still has dried citrus and bitter fine. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Clean finish with more pithy citrus, some zesty lemon, more grapefruit. Nice beer.

On tap @ Murphy's. Good lightly fruity aroma. Good spice notes. Light white head that dissipated quickly. Cloudy yellow color. Nice piney flavor with citrus notes. Very tasty beer and drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: A lot of grapefruit and grassy notes. Smells almost like Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. Appearance is pale-golden with a little haze and nice white head that dissipates into a white ring. Taste is light with a slight sweetness with a lot of bitterness on the backend. Light on the palate very sessionable. I could definitely drink a few of these, it does separate itís self from the pack especially at 7.99 for a 4 pack and using Nelson hops. I would have again.

Draught @ Smoke and Barrel, Washington, D.C. Pours clear amber with airy off-white head. Clear, intense aroma of hops with pronounced notes of citrus. Bitter, hoppy flavour with citric touches and grassy and floral notes. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Nice but rather mild.
