2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tall white head with excellent retention and a spotty lace. Pale blond color, clear. Mild nose of grains and old fruits. light bodied, prickly carbo, crisp. Light grainy malts, lil sour, old hops, light citrus and leaf. Dry finish, tame bite. Better than expected but not a regular for anybody’s lineup. 12oz bottle from statelineliquors.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
20th May 2016, 22oz bottle conditioned, shared with my son in California while on holiday. Pale, straw coloured with a white fading head. Citrus hop front, with a light malty base: expected a bit more hop bite and oomph to be honest, flavours more subtle than impaling.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 Oz bottle poured. Pours a cloudy lemonade color with a full foam mousse head. Lemon citrus aroma that is said on like in a blind check. Flavor is lemon, grassy hops, dank, and a plastic finish. Fun beer that borders on style. Pretty good.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (grapefruit, lemon, grass), with notes of cat pee and detergent. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation.
Citrusy-grassy hops are brought down by unpleasant notes and grainy malt. Ok balance but a bit sour. Meh.

Bottle, shared with Parksy and Rosser. Milky lemon yellow, thick meringue of a head that sits like a permanent crown. Big lemon-lime, gooseberry, guava flavours. Very bright, moderate bitterness. So drinkable!

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle. A murky golden amber with a small but lasting white head. Resinous, piney hops with citrus pith and grapefruit. Some pale malt there but a little lacking in body to carry the hop load. Light to medium bodied, medium spritz and a long, hop-driven finish.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Not much malt and lots of Nelson Sauvin without bitterness.
One of my favorite Pales along with Bale Breaker Field 41 and Black Market Aftermath.
