On tap at stone. Amber pour with quickly disappearing head. Nose is light citrus, honey and nuts. Taste is huge! Tart funkiness is big. Grapes and apricot and light vinegar. Very good and very interesting.

Bottle @ Scott’s Summer Saison tasting. Thanks so much Scott! Cloudy orange appearance with a big white head. Mineral, soapy, chalky, light citursy aroma. Tangy orange citrusy, floral, apricot, mineralic flavor.

Pours a hazy yellow/orange with a medium white head...good retention and lacing. Aroma has a spicy coriander note...akin to a wheat beer...hint of pepper and orange. Flavor has notable orange and spice...drinks more like a weisse than a saison...very spicy...coriander, nutmeg. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is very spicy and a bit dry.

Draught at TJ’s: Aroma of Saison yeast, cocoa, banana, spices, and grain. Poured orange in color with a small to medium-sized, creamy, dense, tan head that diminished but lasted throughout. Opaque. Sparkling. Very good lacing. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes of malt, cocoa, grain, slight banana, and slight Saison yeast. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Light to medium sweet, Saison yeast, slight spice, cocoa, malt, finish is dry.

Draught No head left; hazy deep-orange beer. Fusely, 4Vinylguaiacol, clove & banana spiced. Bitter-spiced, less 4VG than the nose suggests; sharp bitterish, but indifferent hoplining. Finishes quite dry. Spritzy, quite slick, medium bodied at least. Very dry "afterfeel". Not bad, but again one that is more Weizen than saison.

Draft at the brewery. Orange amber pour, a little muddy, with a small off white head. Grain, banana sweetness, spicy yeast, and bitter grass. Im not liking it too much, its alright. A little to sweet.

Great dark orange, with pillowy white head. More mild flavor than other saisons. But hides the 6.5 well.

Clear bright yellow with a fizzy white head. Sweet malty aroma and taste with caramel vanilla and light grain with a spicy finish.

in taster from brewery. Lookslike almost flourescent yellow. Smells like a belgian yeast pale beer. Tastes quite bitter and some grassiness. Delicious saison as usual from IF. Overall 9 of 10.

A: The beer pours an orange-amber color with a finger of white head. S: Sweet malt and bread make up the bulk of the aroma. There is a light fruitiness of banana and (to a lesser extent) apples and pears. A touch of spice in the form of white pepper and a nice touch of doughy biscuit on the finish. T: Starts off with a hint of apple and pear, both of which intensify as the beer warms up. A decent sweetness of bread and biscuit malts, as well as some banana. Lightly spicy and yeasty with a note of pepper. Just a slight bitterness on the finish. M: Medium in body with a medium level of carbonation. O: One of the better Iron Fist beers I’ve had to this point. A nice saison.
