COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Variety is the spice of life. Every once-in-a-while, you’ve gotta mix things up. Our catalyst for such an excursion out of the ordinary is, um, actually spice. Spice of Life uses traditional brewing spices in a way few dare to. Forsaking traditional ideas of subtlety and cowardly “Pinch of This, Pinch of That” brewing techniques, we embrace the flavors and launch them into a full frontal assault of delicious bitter orange peel and grains of paradise. Beautifully smooth coriander compliments and orange peel perfectly.

This beer was sampled from a 750 ml bottle. Nice amber pour, with very pleasant spiciness. I’d think of this as a beer that you could give to a non beer geek to enjoy

Hazy tangerine pour with an eggshell head that diminishes to a ring. Candied citrus, pepper, coriander, orange zest, yeast, and honey-baked biscuit. Drinkable but not terribly interesting. Solid for the style and non offensive.

@Basunen: ganska lagom örtig doft. Smaken är frisk, humle och kryddor. Ganska enkel men helt ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!

Eye: hazy amber with a mid-sized head.
Nose: Ripe fruit, caramel, orange peels, marzipan.
Mouth: Somewhat watery with a dry finish.
Tongue: Sweet, coriander, orange peels, some alcohol.
Brain: A little bit too watery and perhaps too much coriander.

Sample from 75 cl. bottle. Muddy, amber colour with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, fruits, yeasts and spices. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and fruity with spices.

The label does not lie. This is a string brew. Spice notes of coriander prevail with a hearty malt backbone. Pours an orange brown. Aroma is minimal. Orange peeks through at the end pleasantly.

GG (2332) - NorCal, California, USA - OCT 20, 2014
750ml bottle - Aroma - copious orange peel, caramel malts, and floral Appearance - hazy amber body, sturdy 3-finger head, average retention/lacing Mouthfeel - medium/full bodied, medium carbonation Flavor - starts out fruity, noticeable toasted malts and spice Overall - 3rd beer from Iron Fist and it’s another winner. Perhaps a little pricey and it keeps it from getting another tick higher, but it’s a quality beer
