3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a glowing pink tinted orange color. Cloudy appearence, medium carbonation. Head is soapy and thick with great lacing streaks. Aromas of earthy hops and grass, orange peel, sweet malts, and bread. Taste is a little hot with flavors of honey, orange cirus, spicy hops and some belgian spice. Bitterness is perfect for this imperial ipa.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a pale, hazy orange with a good lasting head and a Sweet malty aroma. It has a velvet texture on the tongue and has massive hop finish with big hints of pine accompanied with slight roasty characters. Get a fist in ya!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
It poured a cloudy brown color with an off-white head. The aroma was moderate to heavy earthy hops. The taste was medium to heavy hoppy bittersweet with a good bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Very tasty.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not bad, but not up to SoCal double ipa standards either. Lots of pine and spice, with the citrus taking a back seat on this drive. Covers the abv well for 9+, but also isn’t quite big enough elsewhere either... Good sessionable beer. surprisingly."

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Glowing ember pour with a fluffy eggshell crown. Rings of lacing remain in the glass. Candied citrus, sugar coated orange slices, resin, caramel, and alcohol. Beautiful beer that doesn’t quite hold up in other areas. A bit sweet for the style and wasn’t expecting the forward alcohol hit.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cloudy orange with a white head. Citrus aroma complimented by bread malt. Toasted malt and hop flavors are fairly mild. There’s a little funk in the finish. Not bad but unusual.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Small, off white head with good retention and nice lacing. Murky, orange hued brew. Faintly fruity nose, light peachy notes with some biscuity malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, distracting astringency. Metallic notes, minerally, slight pine and that damn astringency just keeps annoying the hell outta me. Dry, astringent finish. Why is this in a 750 anyways? Just too much. Not necessary. Bottle from statelineliquors.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Nice-looking muddy orange ue. T/he head is but a wisp but hangs on for dear life. The aroma is caged and subtle, but the beer drinks with a distinctly earthy essence, finishing with a very cloying dry-hop bite. In between is a relatively easy-going beer with an organic base, keeping the 9.5% ABV well disguised. (#5419, 11/26/2014)

A: Pours a nice blood orange ale with significant two finger head which lingers on as a single finger of fine whipped, yellow head. Evident carbonation from bottom. lacing like a corset!
S: Piney, resinous, grapefruit. Not too sweet like many IIPA’s I have had lately. Caramel malts shine through appropriately. This nose reminds me of an Impy Red. Nice.
T: Nicely bittered, caramel based malt backbone. Pine, resin, orange and grapefruit rinds. Hints of dark fruits. Just the lightest feel of oak.
M: Medium feel, with high and active carbonation. Velvet feel on the finish. Very nice.
D: Very drinkable beer. If this were available in my area, I would advocate for it fervently. As such, I advocate here. Very good beer, I think even as an IIPA, this would be excellent at 6 months out. The malt is well balanced enough for that.
