COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
First pf the Brewmaster’s Reserve Series.
And now for a bit of irony. Most brewers fight a never-ending battle to keep all those mysterious little microorganisms that might add what they consider to be “off” flavors out of their beer. Well, being the defiant types, we decided not to resist this so-called “wild” yeast, instead bending it to our will to create The Resistance. And since enough is never enough, we also decided to age it in oak white wine barrels. Most people go their entire lives without even laying eyes on such an interesting, unique, and amazingly delicious beer. And you happen to be holding such a beer in your hand right now. Do the math.

Bottle... Poured hazy, pale golden with a big forming white head. Vinous notes on the nose along with oak. This was quite woody with a dry palate. Light fruits, cracker-like malts, with a hint of funk and very, very faint tartness (which may of come from acidity in there).

MrChopin (2213) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAR 25, 2012
murky brown gold, thin white bubbled ring with light lacing. Sugary peach and acetone dominate nose. Flavor shows peach ice cream front, mid is thin, light paper bitterness emerging after the heavy citrus and light sourness from acetic. Thin body contrasts with heavy carbonation, foamy result, playdoh in the end.

CaptainCougar (6835) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAR 11, 2012
750 ml bottle shared by noodleuser: pours a slightly hazy bronze with a stringy-lacing white head. Has a fresh biscuity light fruity nose with a hint of vinous tartness. Starts with pretty good fullness and light malty sweetness with some biscuity character and light tartness toward an effervescent finish. A well-balanced and drinkable brew, but doesn’t have as much tartness as I prefer in a true sour ale.

750mL. Pours hazy peach with a thin white head. Creamy grist nose with small nectarine and wild peach with mute acetic. Richer sour nose. Taste is tangy, creamy, with mild cardboard. Mild sharp acetic twang. Nice wild saison of sorts. A bit too much sweet maltiness in body. Minerally. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(750ml bottle, #606 thanks to bu11zeye) mildly cloudy orange body that’s lightly effervescent. Nose of grape, cranberry, white wine and a bit funky. Taste is vinous, white wine, cranberry, light earth, lightly cvarbonated and a bit of chewable vitamins in the finish.
