I love this beer. Belgian style trippel with some good hops but not overly done, very well balanced. The beer does a great job masking the 12% alcohol. If you can get your hands on this you are a lucky person

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a three finger cream head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Cloudy amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Light grapefruit nose, flavor is well balanced with caramel and grapefruit hops. High ABV is hidden but this triple IPA is warming. 750ml bottle from Gift Specialists Oceanside, California.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
I applaud the experimentation. This is an IPA of the likes of DFH120 -- very syrupy and resiny. The Belgian yeast comes in at the back end, after the hops have faded. I've rated a lot of beers on ratebeer, and it's fun to encounter one of the likes I haven't tried before.

Clear yellow with a creamy white head. Aroma of citrus caramel and alcohol. Very floral tastes of orange caramel and bitter hops with a buttery palate.

Capped 750 from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. Fred is on top of new releases. Pours cloudy, dark, somewhat ruddy, amber. Decent creamy beige head. Aromas of yeast/spice, kandi, light pitted fruit, citrus. Can’t smell alcohol, but I get a burn deep in the trachea. Full bodied. The alcohol is present, but more a flavor enhancement than an issue. Flavor is yeast/spice, pretty roasted malt, hint of chocolate, definitely light pitted fruit, and pretty sure about citrus. And there’s sort of an overarching perfume/floral. Which maybe is a combo of alcohol and fruit esters. Fairly complex ale. The mouth feel is fantastic, and the flavors persist into the finish. This is a great sipper. Tho I’m gonna do the bottle. It is a very tasty ale.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Smells like a Belgian triple and its initially tastes like one but finishes with a bitterness of a dry hopped ipa. It moves from one to the other quite well with a nice balance in the middle.
