Ungstrup (11037), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 3, 2007 Bottled. An amber-red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is very sweet with notes of overripe fruits, berries, and alcohol - from the aroma my guess was that this beer was a Barley Wine (it was tasted blind). The flavor is sweet with notes of berreis, and over ripe fruit, and the alcohol leaves a slight burn on the tongue, but the body is thin. It is weird with the thin body and the pronounced alcohol presence. Thanks Papsř for sharing. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 9, 2007 (Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of kramer17801. Clear, amber golden with a small, off-white head. Aroma of fruit and yeast with a whiff of caramel. Medium body, sweet fruits and caramel and a yeasty touch. Some warming alcohol in the finish. Nice if not exactly outstanding. 021107 joergen (6240), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 12, 2007 Bottle.
