COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A bigger, hoppier version of the English Classic. This medium-bodied beer marries chocolate and a roasted flavor and aroma with an assertive American hop bouquet and bitterness. OG: 1055 Color: 17 IBU: 35

Tap at Maple Shade. Coke-colored with a lacing beige head. Sweet with cherry and brown sugar, gentle roast with more wood than chocolate. A bit too twee and fizzy for me at this point, but the malt tumbles beautifully!

On tap at Iron Hill Maple Shade. Pours a clear brownish amber color with a small foamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, and earthy hops. Taste of roasted malt, earth, grapefruit zest, and toffee.

Taste is smooth, caramel sweetness, some light roasty coffee notes, light chocolate, and a decent amount of bitterness on the finish. Nice brown.
