Amber, Belgian-style IPA with full malt flavor, pronounced bitterness and overwhelming hop presence. Classic Belgian yeast flavors add complexity. OG: 1.083 Color: 14

On draft at the Lancaster location, pint that closed out the night. The pour was amber orange with a generous white head and rings of lacing all the way down. The aroma was that styrofoamy hoppiness with some phenolic yeast character behind it, bready yeast, floral character. The flavor followed with citrus and spicey character mixed in. Full bodied, clean finish. YUM.

On tap at the brew pub. Nice amber with a small head. Aroma of citrus and sweet malt. Flavor starts sweet and malty followed by a hop kick. Very dry and refreshing but beware, This stuff packs a punch.

Tap at Maple Shade, under the name "Digression". Pours out a light copper/Amber color with a moderate white head. Aroma is of some spice, fruit and slight citrus hops. Taste is fruity yeast, slight spices and some nice citrus/pine hop notes creeping in there. Always like these hybrid styles, but I almost found myself looking for a little more hops.

From Iron HIll Maple Shade, this one has a floral nose, mildly hopped with a nice belgian yeast taste to round it out. 8% ABV.

Aroma of pine. Appears deep red. Tastes of pine, floral, and yeast. Feel tingling from carbonation. Very tasty.

At Media location. Orange, amber po ur. Huge citrusy, spicy nose. Flavor was intensely hoppy with herbal, earthy flavors. Spices and zingy. You can really taste the rye. Really grainy as well. Kind of a large mish-mash of flavors, maybe one too many. Either a rye IPA or a Belgian IPA, but both made this a little chaotic tasting.

Draft at North Wales - Nice golden color with a medium soapy head. Aroma is very sweet with some nice Tripel/candi sugar, Sweeter, sugary breads, yeast and some sweet fruit aroma. Flavor is quite sweet with some nice Belgian candi sugar playing well with the hops - lots of orange, sugar, yeast, and sweeter breads in here. Nice mouthfeel - I like it, but it falls just short of others in this niche style of "hoppy Tripel/IPA" (Chouffe Houblon Dobbelen IPA Tripel, Captain Lawrence Xtra Gold, East End Ugly American). Pretty tasty

Decent, belgian IPA a nice style counterpoint to many of the hop monsters out there these days. One of the better of the sampler I tried. For this area though, you have to do yor homework to compete with Flying Fish in this area.

On tap at IH Chestnut Hill - Hazy straw colored with dense white head. Big citrus pine nose. Fuller palate. Hops are cloying, malt provides good body, but not too much to diminish hop profile or being too sweet. Decent. I’d do this again.

At Maple Shade. Hazy orange with lasting thin foamy beige head; aroma is complex array of spice sweet grains and hops; Flava pops with hops but is blended nicely with some sugary sweetness and dry grain; feels medium with nice foamy zing; finishes very bitter with some spicy hop notes
