kmweaver (1770), Takoma Park, Maryland, USA Jul 27, 2007 Draft @ Iron Hill North Wales. Pours a hazy, pale yellow color; white head with decent lacing. Decent, wheaty aroma; some faint cloves and bananas, but mostly wheaty. Medium mouthfeel: fluffy carbonation with chewy bananas and light cloves; bready, white pepper dryness in the finish; lengthy and slightly mouth-drying. acrdz (4095), Pennsylvania, USA Jul 26, 2007 Draft at the North Wales location. Nose of buttery apple juice and some mildly spicy sitkcy malt scents. Simple tasting, pasty yeast and dry lemon peel noticed. Yeast has a mild pepperiness, but it’s overall a bit plain. Drying in the finish with flavor of dough and light lemon, banana and wheat. An average wit.
