4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Media. Tried both Woodruff and Raspberry syrups. Raspberry syrup made it a bit too sweet and sort of masked the tart, zingy character that was present in the Woodruff version. The Woodruff version was tart and herbal and quite delicious.

(Draught at GABF) clearish pale yellow with fine white bubbles. Nose of lemon, cane sugar, and lightly funky. Taste is excellent compared to the nose. Tart lemons, mild hints of soda water, very wheaty, tart and drinkable.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nose is doughy, some lemon, not particularly complex but interesting enough. Flavor is lemon, dough, a bit of toasted malt. Again, not complex but a solid drinker.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled at GABF on 9/16/2010. This Berliner Weisse pours a light gold color. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is tart and floral. A medium bodied Berliner weisse. The malts are fruity, lemony and tart. The hops are slightly herbal. Nice carbonation. A tart but not overly bitter beer. Light and refreshing, very nice for 2.8%. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly tart.
