3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Newark Brewpub. Poured a bright yellow gold with a one finger creamy head that fell to a ring leaving light lace. Aroma of sweet grains and light floral esters. Taste had a very nice balance of malt and perfumey hops, with an extra hop kick in the finish. Mouthfeel was medium bodied and somewhat creamy with mild prickly carbonation. A very enjoyable beer on nitro.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On draft (nitro) at the Newark location. The pour was golden with a nice presence of rising bubbles, small steady head and lacing. The aroma was cereal and citrus hops. The flavor followed with a really good hop presence, clean drinking, refreshing. Somewhat describable as an excellent Boddington’s, a beer I actually enjoy on occassion as it is. So, for what this is, it was quite nice. Mouthfeel moderate to full for the style, light to moderate overall, amply carbonated, dry finish over top of a firm malt base.
