Draught in the Phoenixville location: This one poured a clear golden color with a small white head on it. It left some lacing. It had a milder aroma, but it was still good. Somewhat grassy and earthy with some malts tossed in. The taste is a hair dry. Touch of sweetness to it. Earthy notes with some malts. Nice and refreshing.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at th3 lancaster pub. Looks like pale lager. Nice clean fresh aroma, very attractive to the olfactory. Thin head. Yes, does not have an overthe top bitter attack like so many pilsner wannah bees. Freah easy and fun. Goes down easy, one of the more enjoyable beers at iron hill lancaster. Easily a lager lovers friend. Slight fruity backbone., Good overall beer drinking experience.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had this several times at Phoenixville location. Pours hazy straw colored with nose of noble hops, acidic malt, tart fruit. Tastes tart, hoppy, citric, with a crisp and tart finish. A solid BP.

Grassy lemon nose with just a touch of green apple. Taste is fairly dry, some nice cracker malt, a touch of honey, lots of grass and lemon.

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2015 Draught in Newark. Pale golden pour, good strong bitterness, diesel aromatics of grass and flowers, soft-bodied and smooth, a touch too sweet but still worthy of ten pints. [2011.05.09: 3.8]
Tap in Maple Shade. Clear, rich golden with a creamy beige head and lace. Has some sickly sweetness on the finish and after, need to dry this out a bit, tastes vaguely of caramel toothpaste. Fizzly and seemingly crystal-heavy, light-medium body – would be a great step-up for the Sam Adam’s drinker. [3.2] Drinks much better by the pint than by the sampler [2015.10.29: 3.4].

On draft at the Newark location. Full golden to straw color, nice carbonation bubbles on steady rise/display. The aroma was grainy, cereal, bready, grassy, sweet. The flavor followed, too much malty sweetness for a pilsner, but enjoyable. There were fruity berry type notes in this too, not quite as clean as desirable. Mouthfeel was full body with good carbonation, slightly sticky afterwards.

Growler at Shenandoah Throwdown 2010. Pours a nice clear deep golden with a long lasting fluffy sticky white head. Aroma is fresh big saaz hoppiness, greenl grassy light spicy, sappy light pin and slight fruity hints over big full biscuity and bready pils malts, very fresh. Flavor is more toast, biscuit, pils malt, bready, almost a green melon with spicy saaz hops, sweet bread and carapils with a clean snappy bracing bitter finsih. Nice!
